I actually enjoyed the combination – it's certsinly a lot, but for me, it helped make the city a bit more complex and full of different situations as opposed to just having them come in, meet Bumi, then leave.
Plus, they get to adapt several moments as opposed to giving 50 minutes to Jet or 50 to the inventor (though admittedly, we may miss out on other classic moments as a result).
