This is a Kickstarter project that should have had a) good camera and microphone work and b) great editing. Sadly, it doesn't have that, nor have the producers seemingly used a storyboard, but bar those defects, this documentary is very much needed: these bands have gone down in history for all the right reasons. Where punk fizzled out into the mainstream - NO thanks, The Police - and pop seemed too...pop, people like the Mary Chain and My Bloody Valentine turned the rock landscape on its head by going all early-1900s-modernist-goes-electric on us. And it's good.
