From a slow start in episode 1, it built into (I think) quite a good ending. I definitely was happy I persevered and watched the second half. It takes the history of the forensic use of DNA fingerprints, and puts it into an enjoyable docu-drama, simplifying the science to a point anyone can understand.
I should add, I'm not into who-dunnits, so it's not my normal viewing fare...
