The show directors really need to diversify their methods of showing characters still healing from fights. Kind of silly they gave Mark, his mom, and his dad the same black eye this episode. Perhaps they were trying to convey a deeper metaphor (probably not), but all it did was create unintended humor.
Especially when they tried to have the emotional rooftop scene, but they both have bulging purple sacks on their eye - made even more ridiculous with the mom's eyebrow magically gliding over the lumps.

Mark sure does love getting a black eye. They literally give him one in every fight.
I was really hoping we would have ran into cannibal mark eating other marks. Shame they didn’t animate that.
