@movieswatcher That is the perfect summary. Took a while to get going, but then exactly as described, although I would add that the romcom aspect was predictably lame; a typical Hollywood schmaltz-fest. As you say, the dog was brilliant, but it either didn't bite very hard, or else that guy that kept getting his balls chomped was wearing seriously tough trousers and had an exceptionally high pain threshold.

I'm torn on this one. On one side I really like that they just tried to make an entertaining movie. On the other side, it's just too bloated and mostly just stupid. But still watchable. I just wish they used the dog more. The dog just stole the show.
