So I'm french, and I'm a canal+ subscriber (the network behind this tv show) but I completely missed this serie when it was on air... And then two days ago I see a amazing score for "the returned" on both metacritic and rotten tomatoes ans I was "I know that poster, and I know that synopsis" And then it strikes me! It's "les revenants" Yeah, I've seen dozens of ads in the subway last year... So in the end I've started watching it and I'm really happy I didn't miss it completely. It's dark, it's almost suffocating. But it's amazing. It gives me a bit of hope for the future of french tv. A must see!
