The dialogs are not meaningless, you just need patience. The talking and mumbeling is on purpose. Diplomats talk like diplomats, belters like belters, martians like martians, different individuals like different individiuals. That's just realistic.
@tipitoe season one has way too much space politics, so it can get quite boring quite easily. But season two fixes that and balances things a bit, so if you give it another go, you can be sure that things improve a lot on that matter. Season three is actually superb, as far as sci-fi goes!

I started watching this series and I have to say it's a struggle. The biggest obstacle are meaningless dialogs. Who talks like that? Not to mention that some actors are mumbling. Otherwise it would be interesting story.
