I agree that the main story seems a bit far-fetched and contextless. But as far as acting goes this movie was great (especially Ben Affleck as Batman). Also the visuals were extremely good and there were a few elements that could get really interesting in future movies. I'm especially referring to the dream sequences with Flash and Robin's suit.
The fighting scenes were done really nicely and the setting war reasonably dark. Also there's the fact that I'm a big Batman fan thus I enjoyed this movie move than others would. And I like how this Batman is more like the one of Frank Miller's The Dark Knight comics.
