7.5/10.

The main story about Louise engineering a hostile takeover of the bounce house worked well as one of those kid-centric capers. The various side characters like the return of the posh Sasha, to his divorcee aunt, to Rudy's nebbish of a dad, all added nice accents the kids' big adventures. And the fact that after all the excitement, Louise copped to the idea that it was Rudy's birthday and she'd ignored what he really wanted and cared about was a nice grace note for the story.

But I got a much bigger kick out of the B-story of Linda and Teddy helping Bob through his fear of pigeons. Really, anytime those three are paired up, with Linda and Teddy's escalating weirdness matched up with Bob's straight man qualities, it's a recipe for laughs. Bob's realization that his fear stemmed from transposing himself into The Birds was really funny, and the fact that it culminated in Bob taking a bath with the pigeon and doing voices for it was perfect and adorable. Plus Linda and Teddy had lots of great one-liners, from Linda's fears of falling into the shower drain to Teddy thinking it'd be good for him to hold a living thing again. Superb stuff!
