I'm never going to get over the fact that this shows mixes the funny bits with the dispair, anguish and sadness of seeing everyone you love (and almost everyone in the world) die. It reflects bits and pieces of the loneliness, of the life of those who found themselves sourrounded by death and how they dealt wit it and survived. And how they're learning to move on. It's so well done that the emotional moments are very honest and yet it remains to be very funny (even when sometimes it's a bit repetitive and over the top). It's really grown on me.
