It's a little shocking how much dislike some have for this movie since I happened to thoroughly enjoy it. And I'm one who typically doesn't watch drama movies all the way through. I thought that the storyline was so compelling and I liked uncovering the pasts of Richie and his sister. It was everything I didn't expect it to be; sad, upsetting, make-me-want-to-tear-my-hair-out, and even a little bit hilarious. It was cool to see the different transition points for the characters so all in all, it is a very powerful film and I would definitely suggest giving it a chance.
