This one's more of the Frank Miller Batman of the old and bold (The Dark Knight). See if you can spot the Swamp Thing comic in one of the stores. If you blink, you might miss it. There were some nice cinematic flashback moments that I liked where the score made it even more atmospheric. There's plenty of fight scenes. The mutants remind me of Krang from TMNT.
Seeing Lana Lang on that TV (The Daily Planet News), I wonder that's the same Lana that young Clark Kent was friends with which may tie us in with part 2 of this animated film series.
Now looking at the cast, I'm surprised to see that Bruce was voiced by RoboCop himself, Peter Weller. Carrie is by Ariel Winter (babe!). Then I see Rob Paulsen voiced Jeff, who also did Raphael in the 80s Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and Donatello in the current TMNT series.

It's Batman Day! Sure this isn't the first movie you think to watch on Batman Day but should definitely be considered. As well as Batman Under the Red Hood.
Watching the film again now; I appreciate it even more. Very solid dark and gritty Batman film.
