In its inaugural year the festival will take place over a weekend in Dublin city centre and comprise screenings of new features, documentaries and short films, along with classic science fiction and fantastic features from the vaults.

2016 was terrible year, we can all agree on that. But not for animation (at least). We were given some amazing standalone movies, some sequels, first R rated mainstream animated movie and so much more. Even though that mainstream studios ruled the charts again, we were given some obscure moves to. Definitely one worth to mention.
