Stay tuned for a very special edition of Bloom house after school specials...
A strong first half gives way to a weaker, formulaic second. Still better than expected, especially considering the bad reviews posted online.
A resourceful teenage girl driven by revenge, alongside her trusted friends, spends her summer battling vampires terrorizing her city of New Orleans. Another not-so-good entry of Welcome to the Blumhouse, but unlike Bingo Hell, this one's got the cheese. It has a couple of interesting ideas in it but final product is messy. Thankfully its cheesiness make this film somewhat entertaining. I like the historical aspect and the second half of it is actually scary so it does its job as a horror film. This one definitely has potential. It could’ve been better written and that awful narration can go.
Really?….Who wrote this? Who gave it a green light? Who do I have to curse out?
The girl is annoying. The script predictable. Boring.
horrible boring worst vampire flick on the market. f for sure won't watch again. acting was atrocious. quit saying the*n* word!!!!!
It wasn't the best movie ever, but I was digging the inclusive vibe of it until they rolled out the old "bury your gays" trope. It goes straight onto the garbage pile for that one.

Surprisingly good genre flick. It's nothing new or novel but I expected a lot less. Cast was good except the best friend character. He was too over the top. The actor didn't feel like a genuine character.
Reminds me of Attack The Block meets Buffy The Vampire Slayer.
