Update Note: I think media from the last few years are getting way better at this. Godspeed the era of queer joy. Having said that, there are a number of Hallmark-style movies that are not on this list, and that is because I have no interest in watching them to see if they belong on this list. Sorry. I encourage you to make your own list and please comment!
Note: Happy is relative. These are movies that don't end in tragedy and death, but they are not all without conflict. Please research if you want to know any triggers before watching a movie.
