Most of these films had some level of hype to them and were highly anticipated by fans and critics alike. However, they were disappointing in some fashion. I’m not saying these films are bad, but maybe not as good as they could have been.

Movies/TV wherein arranged, coerced, forced, convenience, and/or mail-order marriages, or the attempt to procure marriage by these means, play an essential role in the plot. Essentially, movies/TV about couples who did not know each other prior to marriage or about marriages/engagements where at least one of the partners was being pushed into marrying the other.
