Das 26. Fantasy Filmfest fand in der Zeit vom 21. August bis 13. September für jeweils eine Woche in den Städten München, Stuttgart, Berlin, Hamburg, Frankfurt, Nürnberg und Köln statt. Die Fantasy Filmfest Nights fanden wie in den Vorjahren im März in den Festivalstädten statt.
Der „Fresh Blood Award“ ging an den Film "Beasts of the Southern Wild".

This is a list of good and influential Found Footage movies / Mockumentaries that I recommend to everyone who wants to check out the genre. Most of them are horror/thriller movies, because in my opinion they benefit the most from this style of shooting.
I didn't include "semi"-found footage films that were only partially shot with handheld/surveillance cameras or made to look like found footage (Chernobyl Diaries, The Fourth Kind, Behind the Mask, End of Watch, Wer, Into the Void, Banshee Chapter etc). I also didn't include sequels (except V/H/S 2), because the first ones are almost always the best.
