Now that's how you make a fucking Superhero move. No more of this PG shit.
One of the worst movies I've ever seen. TERRIBLE.
Had really high expectations for this one, and they were exceeded!
Hilarious, packed with beautiful action, cheeky nudity and everything in a nicely balanced package.
Not the typical Marvel hero, more like a breeze of fresh air. Have too see it again soon to really appreciate all the details.
feels like they try to take the style from "the mask" with Jim Carrey, but they just can't bring it home...
All the dinosaurs feared the T-Rex.
It was perfect. Every aspect of the movie was perfect. This is Deadpool.
Gratuitous violence, 4th-wall-breaking, lots of sex and dick jokes, but a plot more serious than you expect and quiet enjoyable to watch.
References to Ryan Reynold's other roles & other XMen cast.
Amazing, so funny. Ryan born to be Deadpool.
Amazingly funny film, who knew Ryan was this good?
What a waste of time. absolute rubbish!
excelent movie, funny as hell, the blood and violence are great!!! It's a refreshing movie experience.
I loved everything about this movie!! Ryan Reynolds played a PERFECT Deadpool! Saw it twice and it was even funnier the second time around!
Deadpool was priceless! Hilarious action packed movie, with Ryan Reynolds playing the perfect character! Loved it, and gonna watch it again!
I expected way less but wasn't disappointed. Actually a Kick Ass like movie with better scenes and better jokes. I rated it this high not because of the editing or camera, but because it is the funniest Marvel-Action-Superhero-Comedy-Thing I've seen so far. For a good laugh it's worth a watch. For great acting, shooting, lightning etc. it's at a standard level, but not extraordinary.
Fun movie. If offended by cussing, do not watch. Lots of swearing.
This film goes to show exactly how Deadpool is just in the comics... comedian, dumb and gruesome. It's much more hilarious than gruesome but has that slight touch of it.
the didn't fucked it up. its good and its hilarious
If you like Deadpool you'll love this movie!
The jokes are incredibly bad and childish, mostly consisting of random sexist lines brought in by „Deadpool“. Bland acting by the side actors, the plot is predictable and none of the characters are likeable. Only watchable because of the high-quality visual effects
Nope.. Still mediocre 2nd time around. Idk why this spawned a sequel.
Two words. Overhyped and underwhelming. Decided to see what the fuss was about after the latest Marvel rewatch and wish I hadn’t bothered
Decent when compared to other Marvel crap but the premise/motivations are hilariously thin
Watching this again for the millionth time because I'm going to see the new one tomorrow. lol
Jeeez his humor made me watch this a second time. And it did not disappoint. Deadpool 2 my balls are ready.
Fun, yet predictable. I wish it had more of a storyline that actually made it different from other super hero movies.
It took me a while to finally watch this movie, but I did and I loved it! (surprise there ey). I heard so much positive things about this movie and I totally understand why. It’s so funny and action filled, and I really liked the storyline as well! I loved how they filmed it and how Deadpool himself “walked you through it”. Some people told me there were a bit too many jokes in the movie, but to be honest I loved it. From the moment the movie started till the very last end. I loved it. That’s all I have to say, I just loved it.
Deadpool is absolutely hilarious and Ryan Reynolds is PERFECT for the role. The movie is action-packed, exciting and very, very funny. A must-watch for any Marvel or absurd comedy fan.
"Deadpool" is a refreshing and hilarious take on the typical comic book movie, thanks to Ryan Reynolds' spot-on portrayal of the titular character. The film opens with a thrilling and comical slow-motion action sequence and sets the tone for the rest of the film. Reynolds' performance as Deadpool is both snarky and confident, and he is supported by a strong cast, including Leslie Uggams as Blind Al and T.J. Miller as Weasel. The film's clever use of meta-humor and fourth-wall breaking sets it apart from other comic book movies and keeps the audience engaged. However, the plot is thin, and the middle act can feel slow-paced. Overall, "Deadpool" is a highly entertaining and unique action-comedy that is not to be missed.
54 | Ryan Reynolds just being Ryan Reynolds in this over simplified film. Not a quite successful way to keep the budget low.

I think this was a good movie
Sassy and full of attitude, Deadpool is an entertaining and fun superhero film. Based on the Marvel X-Man character, Ryan Reynolds stars as Wade Wilson, a former Special Forces operative turned mercenary who seeks out a radical cancer treatment but gets more than he bargained for when he’s horribly disfigured and left for dead. Reynolds gives a great performance and really owns the character. Also, the comedy is especially well-written; full of clever quips, meta humor, and breaking of the fourth wall. Yet the film pushes its hard R rating with vulgar sexual jokes, nudity, and gratuitous violence. Deadpool isn’t for everyone, but its satiric commentary on the genre and irreverent attitude delivers a lot of laughs.

From the moment the test footage leaked I just knew this film was gonna get made and if the right people were involved it would be one of the best superhero films of all time and it is safe to say that Deadpool is one of the best Marvel related films ever, this is because Fox actually took a chance with this one and let everyone involved have fun with this character. Deadpool is about a character who gets turned into a superhero after a rogue experiment but this film has everything as it has romance, action, comedy and hell it even gets emotional when has to be.
Lets start with Ryan Reynolds (Wade Wilson / Deadpool) who is probably one of the best cast actors of all time as he is Deadpool and Fox / Marvel have known this for years and finally this film lets him take this character to the next level but also take the superhero genre to the next level, also I have to give credit to T. J. Miller (Weasel) who plays perfectly opposite Deadpool but I need to also shout out Stefan Kapičić (Colossus) who is the most underrated casting.
I don't wanna give away too much with Deadpool, just watch it and enjoy but leave the kids out for this one as it is very R-Rated.
Reynold's does an exceptional job portraying Deadpool. There were some major liberties taken with other characters in the movie vs their comic origins but honestly, it overall made for a more enjoyable film. I went to see this movie with my significant other & two other comic-loving friends as a double date on Valentine's day & we had an absolute blast. Brianna Hildebrand, Karan Soni & Morena Baccarin definitely deserve honorable mentions for their part in this film.
It's a very strong 7. It has a generic base but it has a next level charm that really shines. This movie needed to be made and needed to do well. Gladly, both things came to pass.
Funny and hilarious for a couple of views
"From the studio that inexplicably sewed his fucking mouth shut the first time, comes... me!".
One of the greatest anti-hero - the Merc with a mouth - Wade Wilson was once a special forces operative but turned mercenary. After being subjected to a rogue experiment, he finds himself with accelerated healing and transforms himself into Deadpool. Armed with weapons (and a wicked sense of humor) he will stop at nothing to track down the men responsible.
Never have I seen so many fans (or moviegoers), dying to see a character like Deadpool on the big screen; it's a bit like how everyone wanted to see The Avengers on the big screen back in late 2011. It's bad enough that the studios can't seem to get the character right with the disaster that was X-Men Origins: Wolverine. But the respect and love that fans have for this character stayed strong until everyone's prays was finally answered by this movie. And it did not disappoint, because Deadpool lives up to hype by being entertaining and hilarious. While I don't think it's an A+ like Chris Stuckmann rated it or a masterpiece of all comic book movies, but did I have fun watching this movie? ABSOLUTELY. It's a film that fans wanted and got.
I can't imagine anyone else in Hollywood playing Deadpool but only Ryan Reynolds. He was born to play this character and he's the only actor that I think of to do the character justice. Reynolds as expected did that, and that's make the character of Deadpool he's own. He was terrific has the mouth talking, ant-hero bad-ass. This is Ryan Reynolds come back role after his past disasters roles that mostly involves Green Lantern and Origins Wolverine (that this movie brilliantly makes fun off). Reynolds was just perfect for this character and he did a great performance in this film. He delivered the comedic timing and the somewhat of a hidden charm that Deadpool has. Ryan Reynolds absolutely nailed it.
The writing in this movie was surprisingly good, which I didn't expect for a movie with this kind of character. Of course there are Easter eggs, references and nods to the comics and Marvel movies, but in this movie it's done in such a way that feels kind of refreshing. I know for a fact that I missed a lot of the jokes and references due to amount of laughter that I had while watching the movie. I can say it with a brave face that the writing is this movies biggest strength, because it's self awareness on Marvel movies and itself was all top notch.
I'm so happy that this movie is rated R and not some water down PG-13 movie, because if you honestly think a Deadpool movie should be rated PG-13, then you really don't know the character at all. I'm taking to you Grace Randolph. Just because some little eight year old boy (who probably doesn't know who Deadpool really is), whats to see the movie, but can't because he's not old enough to see it, doesn't mean it should be changed to a PG-13 for someone who doesn't even know the character of Deadpool. These fans have waited 7 or 8 years for this character to be done right, so this little boys mother should teach him some patience.
Now for the flaws: How much better would this movie be if it had visual comedy. I mean Edge Wright should seriously do a Marvel movie, because I know for a fact that he will make the best Marvel movie ever when it comes to it's comedy, pasting and execution (something that Age of Ultron couldn't do). I highly recommend seeing Every Frame and Printing video on "How to do Visual comedy", because Tony Zhou knows some much about movies better then I do. But that's what I felt was missing in this movie and I know this is Tim Millers first big film (And an impressive one as well), but I'm just saying that it would be really brilliant if there was visual comedy in a movie with Deadpool.
While I did think the writing was great, but some of the jokes in the movie I didn't find that funny. And no, it's not because I didn't get it or I didn't understand the reference, because all of the jokes and reference in this movie I understood clearly, it's just that I didn't find some of it funny.
Overall Deadpool is a fresh, entertaining comic book movie that it's hard for any comic book lover not to like this movie. You bet I'll be seeing the squeal when it comes out since I know it's in good hands.
This better than 90% of the MCU
NON-STOP ACTION!!
Loved Deadpool laughed so hard my sides
Hurt.
It such a nice movie to watch.
It was of that I expects it would be
Amazingly funny film, who knew Ryan was this good?
.The rythm of the movie is too fast. However, there is good humour. It would be good for children not to see it.
Absolutely love it. It's the exact Deadpool movie I've been wanting for decades, but never thought in a million years I'd get. It's action packed, juvenile, crude, annoying, self referential, and hilarious. I adore it.
una película de un humor muy negro no recomendable para menores pero es tremendamente graciosa
One of the most ironic heroes movies! Full of action but with a very well-made sense of humor.
A okay movie with good acting and a bad plot. like all of these movies made for a fad not amazing but worth seeing.
I'm not into superhero action movies, so I expected that I would switch this off after 10mins. But huge surprise - I really liked it, it was funny and weird (good weird).
I'm not a big fan of superhero movies so I was really amazed by this movie. It's definitely not a superhero movie and the plot is great – funny as well as a bit of action ;). Good story and great special effects!
That was the best Marvel movie I´ve seen so far.
Absolute crap! I lose time and money for this nonsense.
Eagerly waiting for the release of this one!
Looking forward to this one.
While still funny and immensely entertaining, I confess I was a little disappointed with Deadpool. With this character, they had an opportunity to make a completely ridiculous and nonsensical superhero movie, and what we got as another generic plot following the tired origin story / damsel-in-distress formula, with a bit of crude humor and 4th-wall breaking mixed in. I almost wonder if that was the cost for finally getting this movie made.
120 minutes of jokes, pop culture references and free violence. This could be 120 minutes Deadpool standup.
If this movie fails, Ryan Reynolds will never be in a comic book movie ever again. Let's hope this movie don't fail because I really like Reynolds as an actor.
OMG here it comes, I can almost see the massive failure. Can't wait.
It was perfect, a masterpiece. Surpassed all my expectations, it was hilarious, full of funny moments, action-packed, but also containing some serious/dramatic moments. One of the best (if not THE best) things I've ever witnessed.
Whats up with the bad ratings? This movie was awesome and hilarious!
I've tried to watch 'Nerdcool' multiple times but cannot get through the horribly unfunny cringe fest. One of the worst movies I have almost seen in a long while.
Laugh out loud funny, really great fun, definitely doesn't disapoint, more please......
love love love!!!!!!!! fourth wall breaks are so fun, especially all the references to ryan reynolds. :)
Great movie! Ryan Reynolds does an amazing work portraying Deadpool! Not to mention that he’s funny as hell! Super recommended!
1st is better than the 2nd.
Lots of fun, look out Logan!
There couldn't have been anyone better than Ryan Reynolds to play Deadpool.
"You can't buy love, but you can rent it for three minutes!" - Strip Club DJ
One of Stan Lee's craziest cameos yet.
S^&t swizzler - OMG!
I was not expecting anything when I started watching this, but absolutely loved this. I'm not a comic nerd, but always have appreciated the stories and can appreciate the superficial details of the comic world (I can recognize Stan Lee in his cameos).
This was a roller coaster ride of mostly ups with a lot of laughs and a decent story. Looking forward to seeing the sequel.
Spoiler: The after-credits scenes were a hilarious tribute to a classic movie - ''Save Ferris!''
Maximum effort.
I love this movie. Since the first time I saw it when the gag opening credits were rolling and Angel of the Morning was playing I knew I was going to love it. The action is great. The music choices are awesome. It's hilarious and my type of immature comedy. I'm very much looking forward to the sequel.
Surprised Reynolds stooped so low to make this one...terrible, terrible. Gave up after 20 minutes
I really didn't have any high hopes about Deadpool, since almost everyone I know found it rather meh.
Which is why, now that I've seen it, I'm so positively surprised about it.
Sure, it's pure trash with semi-expensive CGI.
Yeah, there's a fair share of dick jokes and a lot of bad humor in general.
Also, yeah, it's basically a flat and linear love story.
And all of this is what makes Deadpool such a great movie.
This is one of those movies that don't take anything (including themselves) seriously. And for everyone who didn't get that: pay attention to at least the first 2 minutes. This fact is brought upon us even during the intro credits.
Of course, if you expect it to be a superhero movie like so many, it's understandable that you're highly disappointed.
But for someone like me who couldn't care less about superheroes (aside from Batman; seriously, he's just awesome.), this movie is pure shit-stained, trashy gold in the best way possible.
I absolutely loved this. That's all.
Yes, I will always come back to watch this.
Brilliant and awesome work! Loved it.
I got nothin, bring on the sequel
my 7th time watching it, trying to watch it less to make it special but hell this is amazing.
Very funny! Better be a sequel soon!
Really enjoyable movie, excellent rythm and pure violence for all!
Very funny movie. I'm pleasantly surprised from marvel. :P
Finally I've got to watch this amazing movie and it really did worth all the waiting.
Deadpool is the funniest superhero and he is bad-ass as well.
Amazing!!! Ryan was the only actor that could pull off the "Merc with the mouth"! Was not disappointed at all.
Been watching Ryan Reynolds since Two Guys, A Girl, and a Pizza Place and this is the movie he was meant to do. Refreshing take on the superhero movie.
I love Deadpool's character and the story arcs in the comics and crossovers. To be honest, this film, could be worst. It's fun, and kept me laughing the whole time. But the baddies felt so generic, it feels like a TV episode, sometimes. It's a romantic film?... kinda, and it works that way. Given the budget involved, I can't and won't complain. Reynolds IS Deadpool. He owns the character. Let's hope the next time around the writers feel more at ease, and the bean counters at Fox decide to give a few more rounds to this franchise.
Perfect Ryan for Perfect Deadpool. Nailed it !! I cant wait for 2 !!
7.5/10. Deadpool is at its best when it's making fun of superhero movies. The film feels like a counter-reaction to the prominence and seriousness of comic book films in pop culture, and in that vein, it's a success. When it fills the opening credits with a description of its actors rather than their actual names (e.g. "Moody Teen", "British Villain"), features knowing winks to its star's emerald-tinged prior efforts as a cape, and plays "Angel of the Morning" behind its freeze-framed mayhem, it's a statement of purpose, an indication from the very beginning that this is not going to be your standard superhero flick, and the movie is very much in on the joke.
And yet the movie is at its weakest when it gives into that seriousness, when it hits the usual beats of a standard good guy origin story, including a bland baddie and lost love. The film does its best to throw in a comedic riff on these moments, with playful quips directed at the film's villain, even as he cycles through the requisite bad guy threats and intimidation routine, and ribald remarks permeating the tragic backstory and romance. It's a firm attempt to try to take some of the edge off of bland baddie Ajax (Ed Skrein) and his wooden, generic henchman Angel Dust (Gina Carano), who are the most standard-issue characters in the film. But at its core, Deadpool can't completely run away from the typical superhero movie rhythms it employs, even as it's trying to make fun of them, and that drags it down in the moments where the film tries to be a little more conventional or serious.
Thankfully, the lead character provides plenty of comedic juice, both in the suit and outside of it. Deadpool (Ryan Reynolds) is effectively a murderous Bugs Bunny, causing mayhem that looks like some cross between Kill Bill and Tex Avery. Reynolds nails the characters charming irreverence, and the script belies any attempts to show a true heart of gold beneath the barrage of bullets and sarcastic asides.
If anything, Deadpool goes too far in the other direction, having its lead repeatedly affirm that he is not, in fact, a hero -- that he is, instead, just a bad guy who goes after people who are worse. That's a great premise for a character, and the fact that the film doesn't shy away from its R-rating or from showing Deadpool plying his trade with little care or concern for Truth, Justice, and The American Way. But having him vocalize that point repeatedly makes Deadpool himself feel more like the rebellious teenager who makes a point to constantly remind you that he doesn't care.
Despite that, in the moments where Deadpool avoids the pitfalls of backstory fatigue and rescue mission malaise, it is a delightfully breezy, eminently enjoyable film. Director Tim Miller perfectly captures the screwball, irreverent tone necessary for the piece to work, from his main character's looney mayhem, to the comedic exchanges between Deadpool and his wife Vanessa (Morena Baccarin), buddy (T.J. Miller), and roommate (Leslie Uggams), all of which have their own distinct flavor and weird, off-color charms.
Make no mistake, Deadpool is a film that wears its raunchiness on its sleeve. Reynolds' history as Van Wilder served him well for the movie's puerile sensibilities, culminating in a parade of horribles game of oneupsmanship that serves as both his and Vanessa's meetcute and their reconciliation. The movie is not above making jokes about sex, masturbation, and genitalia in general. To that end, the script has the feel of the standard X-Men outing grafted into a Robot Chicken sketch. I'm certainly not too classy to enjoy the film's thoroughly juvenile charms, and the unabashed way it embraces its sophomoric, self-mocking tone keeps things light and fun.
The film also preserves Deadpool's fourth wall-breaking asides. It's a delicate balance, and staying on the right side of the Ferris Bueler line is no small feet. But when Deadpool talks to the audience about who he had to pleasure to get his own movie, or cautions that his suit shouldn't be green or animated, or complains about his confusion as to which actor is playing Professor X at this point in the timeline, it's another sign that the film is having fun with the excesses of the genre and his X-men Universe stablemates. Too much of that post-modern take on comedy can be grating, but Miller parcels out just enough to make it a treat instead of a gimmick.
In many ways, Deadpool feels like the raunchier cousin of Guardians of the Galaxy. Both films feature a less-than-savory protagonist; both trade in classic tunes played over silly action scenes; and both attempt to undercut any necessary serious moments with a joke and subvert the big comic book ending just enough to add-in an enjoyable twist that tells the audience what kind of a franchise this is and what kind of a "hero" they're dealing with. Guardians is a bit more earnest in the effort, and certainly tamer by comparison, but both films prove that you can make a superhero movie that is as much of a comedy as it is an action-adventure tale, regardless of where the humor is pitched.
Deadpool does revel in its sense of subversion. The main character pushes back at Colossus's moralizing about becoming a hero (and ribs his teenage sidekick for her sullen silences and sharp remarks in one of the film's funniest bits). And just when it seems like he's about to give in and spare his enemy, Deadpool shoots the guy point blank, right in the middle of the metal man's speech. That type of attitude, that eschews the usual tropes of crime-fighting stories and throws in a ribald quip for good measure, makes Deadpool a refreshing, often hilarious enterprise that knows what it wants to be and doesn't hold back. If only it could sustain that energy and aim throughout the film, rather than devolving, at times, into damsels in distress and a typical revenge tale with a checkered past tacked on for good measure, it would succeed unequivocally. Instead, Deadpool is a tremendously funny film with a delightful comedic verve that sustains it from beginning to end, even if, occasionally, it can't quite escape the baggage of its super suit-wearing brethren.
Beast movie! I really liked the humor, but you need to be familiar with deadpool or you're going to have a very akward time.
I love it so much. Wolverine and Deadpool are my all time duo. The humour is genius and every single cast member played thier jokes so well. The constant pulling you out and straight back in is so perfect, I know its not new but it seems so new the way they use it.
:heart::heart::heart::heart::heart::heart::heart::heart::heart: - Deadpool is one of the greatest Marvel action/comedy films I've ever seen. I congrats to Ryan Reynolds playing Deadpool cause there is no other actors like him who could play Deadpool role. You definitely have to watch this film more than once to get most of the references that you may have missed! Deadpool is MASTERPIECE

really enjoyed this movie and I didn't expect to, funny, violent and action packed.
Just awesome action comedy cgi
This had a lot of cool action scenes. It also has a good share of comedy, but to be honest the comedy element was a little weak, but thankfully the action made up for the difference.
can you add this movie on tubi website please
To be more specific, 7.8
a fun fast-pace film :sob: endlessly entertaining
This movie was...interesting. Quite wacky and brutal for sure, although I expected it to be more brutal. Dialogue and the action mostly carried this, as Deadpool's snappy attitude and the pretty well-shot action sequences, with lots of impact in its punches and bullets, were mostly what really kept my interest throughout the movie. Everything else about this movie was pretty much whatever, the jokes too, as they were either references I didn't get or jokes from an 8 year old I couldn't really laugh with. But Deadpool calls himself a kid too, he may be forgiven. I will say though, Ryan Reynolds may just be a perfect casting. But that alone doesn't make a movie.
Not a family film. Graphic violence, continuous profanity, and lots of blood. Funny, a funny movie with Ryan Reynolds at his very best.
I've watched the two Deadpool movies so many times. The jokes never get stale. I love all the Hugh Jackman and Wolverine references too. I can't wait for the third instalment of the franchise.
With the announcement recently that Deadpool 3 is in the works and includes a final(?) appearance by Hugh Jackman as Wolverine, I felt it was time to revisit the first two Deadpool films and deliver some official reviews. So, without further ado, my Deadpool review.
This was such a nice pallet cleanser after the Venom films I reviewed the last two weeks. Looking back, it almost feels like both Venom and Venom: Let There Be Carnage were trying to have the humor and wit of Deadpool, but couldn’t take the leap, stumbling in the process. That said, Ryan Reynolds is the straw that stirs the drink in this film. It doesn’t work with anyone else playing Wade Wilson/Deadpool, but you can probably put just about anyone around him, and it will work.
That’s not to say that the supporting cast is bad. Just the opposite. T. J. Miller is great in a limited role as Wade Wilson’s best friend and Morena Baccarin’s Vanessa goes toe to toe with Wilson as their relationship grows through the film. Ed Skrein’s portrayal of Ajax is not as memorable, but sufficient as the lead villain. Further down the supporting cast list, Gina Carano as Ajax’s sidekick Angel Dust feels very one dimensional, and a bit of a wasted opportunity. On the other hand, Negasonic Teenage Warhead (Brianna Hildebrand) and Colossus (Stefan Kapičić) provide a lovely connection to the world of the X-Men, and feel like fuller characters than either of the villains.
Now, Deadpool does things often considered no-nos in film. There is plenty of narration from the main character and Deadpool breaks the “fourth wall” numerous times, giving the audience a knowing wink from behind his mask. It also blends comedy and brutal action into an R-rated piece that was well overdue from Marvel at the time.
Even being so self-aware, the film doesn’t diverge into ridiculousness. It toes that line, while flinging itself completely across the line of violence, something not seen in most other Marvel films. Not for the faint of heart, rather than tell you Deadpool is nigh indestructible, you see it in all the bone breaking detail. One scene is even reminiscent of Monty Python’s Black Knight with Deadpool fighting on despite having only one leg to stand on.
If yours is a family that likes watching Marvel movies together, make sure to put the kids to bed before putting this one on. It earns the R-rating, but everything that contributes to that rating feels relevant. Some of the blood and gore could be a bit excessive, but it still serves to drive home the point of Deadpool’s physical resilience, even if he is a bit weaker emotionally. A well put together film and worthy of a place in the MCU once that connection is made.
Easily one of my favorite Marvel films. It’s action packed, vulgar, zany, and Ryan Reynolds was born for this role. While it’s certainly not for kids, this is a must see movie for anyone that has any interest in superhero films. Very excited for the third one to come out!
Rating: 5/5 (:star:) - 10/10 - Must See
Ryan excepted the role as Deadpool back in that Wolverine movie under the condition that he has future rights to the carractor. In the wolverines movie they took away Ryans mouth. What was going on behind the scenes? Ryan got the last laugh. So much better than any wolverine movie.

Funny as hell and delightful rated R content. Was not disappointed.
