God's Crooked Lines 2022

Shutter island did it better, I dunno why this movie copy the shutter Island cinematography meanwhile they got the original history, it is a total mess, bad acting, too much Shamalayan plot twist, too long, and the ending it was the worst, here in this universe the police is like the simpsons show. A Mary Sue against the system, the movie look like a 60's but in he book was in the 80*. Skip it...

Set in 1979 and over two and a half hours yet I was gripped throughout and thoroughly engrossed with the many plot twists. Great ending.

It took a loooooong time to go from one twist to another, then to where we knew it was going.

Thought it was original, but it turned out to be a remake of the 1983 Mexican movie of the same name

Conducting an investigation when everyone around is crazy, and you yourself are a patient, is not easy. Try to deceive the orderlies. Do you have an agreement with the head physician? But it's me. Come on electric shock? A lengthy psychological thriller with dashing twists about responsibility for the doctor's decisions. O. Paolo's new hit should not be missed

[Netflix] Half Torcuato Luca de Tena, half Oriol Paulo, the coexistence between the characters in the novel and the usual gimmicky development of the director don't quite fit well in a film that sacrifices the exploration of madness in favor of the plot thriller twists. The story takes a good momentum from the initial approach but gets lost in well-known springs that, among other things, blurs the relevance of the secondary characters, here only at the service of an excellent performance by Barbara Lennie.
