One of the most creative DC animated movies. Awesome artstyle. Great story. Amazing action. A must watch for any fan of the dc animated films.
good movie I highly recommend you watch it very entertaining at the least
Didn’t think I would like this as much as I did. The animation and voice acting was great. It felt like a “Justice League Unlimited “ episode where characters you are not as familiar with are the main focal point. The only criticism I could say is that we really don’t get to know much about the characters outside of Wonder Woman, Flash, and Steve. Would still recommend it.
To be honest, I didn't even finish watching this. Turned it off after about an hour. The one thing I liked was the animation style but that's about where it ends.
Now, I don't read the comics. I watch these movies, stand-alone, for entertainment purpose only. I don't care about continuity or how they compare to the comic at all. I do know that WWII and fighting Nazis is a big thing in the comics. But do we really need another of those stories in 2021 ? An alternate universe sounds like a good idea, if done well. But this, too, has been done so many times. Is there really nothing new ?
I have seen many animated movies from DC, and Marvel as well. But this was one of the worst. Or maybe I'm getting to old for this.
Personal opinion, of course.
Tomorrow is never guaranteed, only today... right now. That's why we fight, right?
WTF? We fight because only 'right now' is guaranteed?
Justice Society: World War II is like reading a pile greeting cards with nice pictures.
That and the fact that whenever Flash gets in trouble he moves his hand back and forth really quickly to save the day makes me think he's had a lot of practice with this motion.
Sadly, this mess of sloppy writing and WTF is where good ideas go to die.
Although the writing is very mediocre, the animation style is great and voice acting is pretty solid. Much better than expected, but still far the best.
Basically, Flashpoint but less interesting (and a little bit boring). Also, the Atlantean plot line sucked but, pacing was pretty good and the existing character arcs, although superficial, were satisfying to watch, particularly Flash's and Steve Trevor's.

Excellent movie. The pacing was noticeably better than most other DCAU movies, the art style looks fantastic, and the action scenes are exciting.
I loved this movies portrayal of Wonder Woman (personally I think she's written and developed than in either live action adaptations) and the relationship between her and Steve feels so natural.
As for the Flash, finally he has a portrayal where the writers remembered that he's a genius and can do things other than go fast.
I also enjoyed Superman, with the callback to how the 1940s version of him was just super strong and invincible, so they never show him flying or using any of his other powers.
As for the other characters I was plesently surprised with how well developed they are for being side characters, with Hourman feeling like he doesn't belong on the team cause his powers only last 1 hour, or the romance between Canary and Hawkman. With Barry and Jay Garrick teaching each other Flash tricks they never realised they could do before.
The one thing i'm a bit iffy on is the ending. having the movie go from fighting Nazis to for some reason fighting Atlantis felt like a bit of a weird U-turn and I feel like they did it just so they could have Wonder Woman fight Aquaman and not have to end the film on them winning the war. but what they did with Doctor Fate and the mysterious "Advisor", as well as the very end of the movie, make me think that this is the second step (after Superman: Man of Tomorrow) in another connected universe with a much more long-game threat.
