It was good, but it didn't "go beyond" the show very much, and the lack of best girl (Froppy) to highlight new girl (Melissa) felt cheap, especially since the Jar-Jar Binks hero (Minetta) had such a big role. Except for the new people and setting, it could have been three episodes. That said, it was a lot of fun and it was nice seeing My Hero Academia on the big screen.
Finished season 6 the other week so I'm getting around to watching the movies while waiting for season 7.
Ochaco seeing Izuku hanging out with Melissa "It looks like you're having fun." Priceless.
Pretty funny the main villain has Magneto-type powers and still uses a normal gun.
Feels like a mid-quality episode of MHA aside of course, the final blow at the end. Did not juggle the characters well and did not focus nearly enough on certain aspects that the show even delves into. With an hour and half runtime, it used it pretty poorly.
It was fun since it was their first movie they've to keep things under the budget.

As usual, the animation for MHA is absolutely stunning. The story went on a little too long but the third act makes up for that with the amazing action and emotional moments.

First off, the animation looks great, the cast of characters are always fun and seeing Deku and All Might double Detroit Smash a villain is an amazing sight.
The bad guy wasn't all that great, did like the idea behind that device being made. I missed Froppy loads, I wish it had more Bakugo as well. But hey, still I was enjoying those 90 minutes. And screaming PLUS ULTRA always gets me goosebumps.
The action is amazing Dub Is amazing In my opinion If you like the Show You would definitely like the movie
It's absolutely a must-see for every Shonen enthusiast; the well balancing of the story and general message really tugged my heart. Teared up a little too. Really great work, Horikoshi-Senpai!
I was waiting for a long time to watch this movie and today I just saw it and I must say that it has not disappointed me.
It was definitely worth waiting to watch this movie.
First off, outstanding animation.
Watched it with a casual, that didn't hear of the show before and doesn't watch anime in general and they loved it.

Man this movie was PLUS ULTRA I loved the back story and the plot twist, into the villan fight at the end everything was great I even saw most of the movie coming but was still super excited cant wait for it to come out on blue ray that almight pose with deku at the end was godliike.
