A prequel to the whole Olsen Gang saga that isn't really worth considering. While the idea sounds interesting the result is rather dull. Those characters are so iconic you can't just replace them even if you make them kids. And you really don't need to know the history of Egon, Benny and Kjellt. I have watched the Olsen Gang movies multiple time and not once did I thought about how they met or what they have done in the past.
