I often criticise all these remakes of movies and the lack of originality of the studios, specially hollywood and the Hindi film industry. We jus have to many of them and rarely they have any substance. But there are some exceptions which are actually good or at least good enough imo. Some films are rather inspired by than full-on remakes, I'll put them on here aswell.

Also adding the originals and sorting them before the remakes.

I recommend watching mostly the originals first.

Good ol' classic movies I have no expectations to be in the mood to watch in the foreseeable future.

This month we double up and double down. Since the beginning, the remake has been a staple of cinema (and all art), serving as an update, an echo, a reflection, and sometimes a cash-in. Take a look in the mirror at what was, is, and always shall be with REMAKE/REMODEL.
