Not bad, not good, plods along, the sort of B movie you don't need to concentrate on... predictable but you won't watch it again. 5/10

Is it just me, or is Ben Kingsley doing an Anthony Hopkins impression throughout this movie?

If you like kinda old school entertaining action of the kind where the right guy is at the right place at the right time to do the right thing.... well you get my drift. Reminded me of Die Hard at times but only in very general terms. Some nice shooting and fighting, don´t expect a blockbuster and you´ll be fine.

Entertaining Friday night fodder. Banderas is suitably gruff, and Kingsley is suitably Kingsley. Goes perfectly with alcohol.

Antonio Banderas enters his late life Liam Neeson action star era. This film is a B-film through and through. For what it is though, it is a damned entertaining film.

The premise is simple: Die Hard in a Mall. Antonio is most entertaining to watch and some of the action sequences he takes place in are reminiscent of his role in El Mariachi. The story was simple and enjoyable. Ben Kingsley chews through each scene he is in. The action, on what must have been a shoe-string budget, was well-done and memorable.

Well worth a watch.

Efficient action thriller, short on a decent plot but with plenty of action. Switch your brain off and you will find some enjoyment.

Even if this movie was stacked up against the worst 100 movies of all time it would be in the top 5. Seriously this was absolute garbage. Stupid plot, lousy script with some of the cheesiest lines ever, all delivered by a mostly B/C list set of actors, I've seen Geraniums with more charisma! I've never rated Antonio Banderas anyway and this movie does nothing to change that, I normally like Ben Kingsley but I can only guess times were hard when he agreed to play the part of Charlie in this, and what's with the bloody Welsh accent FFS! Just why? Nothing more to say really, if you've literally nothing better to do or watch, as a throw-away action movie this might do the job, even that doesn't help drag it's score up from a very rarely awarded 1!

A decent low budget-ish thriller. Almost like Die Hard where 95+% of the film is in one location and has a similar plot as it follows a newly hired but decorated mall security guard and his crew who get their hands full when they have to protect a little girl who is running from mercenaries who want her dead as they were hired by a gang as she is due to attest against that gang in court. The back story could have had more time spent on it but once it gets set up the action and negotiation scenes and casting all fall in place for a good entertaining film.

This is what I would call a paycheck movie for Banderas & Kinsgley. It's basically moeny in their pockets for a rainy day.
The story itself is a basic B-movie actioner. It's something to watch in the background not paying a whole lot of attention to it.

I think I saw this movie about 20 years ago - 'Christmas Rush' with Dean Cain. They had a go at Die Hard in a shopping mall back then.

I love how this Die Hard style plot reappears every few years but I was genuinely shocked to see that this one had Antonio Banderas and Ben Kingsley in it.

It's okay on a rainy night when you have insomnia. It's low budget, has some action, has some attempt at a plot.

It's neither bad nor good...

First I thought this is going to be a great movie, but then I was not sure whether it's action or comedy - then it became clear, that it's neither. Just empty trash and characters that couldn't be more unbelievable...

Surprisingly bad, unfortunately. Should have believed the reviews.

Banderas and Kingsley, as expected, both played very good roles. McIntyre did ok as the a-hole but was a little OTT and the same from Lindberg but I'm not sure I'd have behaved any better in those circumstances.

Overall, not a film I would watch again but definitely not bad.

One of the things I hate about action movies is that they all focus too little on setting a story, and rather everything is focused on the special effects. Hence I did like this movie. Sure, it isn't the most impressive movie, but the story is good and is not seen in hundreds of other movies, like too often happens. It is recommended if you like action movies at which story does have an importance, but if you really into just seeing action scene after action scene, then skip this, as that's not what this movie is, which I am really happy about.

Antonio Banderas...Ben Kinsley, why did you accept to be in a movie like this? I have really expected more, but it's just another basic action movie with so little to give.
