I can see this one becoming a modern cult classic as more people get to see it. It's from Pegg & Frost, so it's already got the pedigree, though not quite the same sparkle as with the holy trinity alongside Wright.
Absolutely cannot fault any of the performances. Michael Sheen is fantastically hammy (in the right ways) and is evidently just having a whale of a time with his character. If you've seen the trailer, it may or may not pan out the way you were expecting, either, which is refreshing.
Certainly contained more proper laugh out loud moments than any other comedic offering this year, anyway. A gem in an otherwise unfunny year. See it if you get a chance. If you're into previous British comedy/horror offerings, you'll probably enjoy this too.
Underwhelming.
cast were all good but film itself was the embodiment of meh
Moderately entertaining, and with an excellent cast, but this slapdash effort is never as funny or as inventive as I wanted it to be.
michael sheen <3 <3 <3
Nothing brilliant but was entertaining, few laughs and great cast and did have the feel of harry potter at times and many other films..
Blatantly attempts to emulate Edgar Wright’s visual style, and fails miserably. Skip at all costs, even free.
Fun movie that is comedic and light
Funny. I really enjoyed watching it.
What a horrifically abysmal movie.

With a cracking cast, this could have been a great film. It isn't though. The plot is daft, the script is poor and it's ultimately dull.
