This is my first rewatch since winning press passes to see it in theaters in the summer of 2015.
I remember now what I was thinking on that evening: "How could a movie this dark, and this fucking raunchy be so inexplicably wholesome?"
This is one of the darkest, raunchiest comedies I'd seen since Bad Santa up to that point, and it's so worth the watch. Especially for that scene!
Also, Sebastian Stan's "White Russian, really?" line still cracks me up. Yeah, it'd been a year since Captain America: The Winter Soldier, and Stan isn't actually from Russia, nor was Bucky Barnes, but that was the kind of meta humor that always stuck with me.
Oh, and Rauch's Midwestern, small town Ohio accent is so damn good, it's almost like nails on a chalkboard. Bra-fucking-vo, Melissa!
Great movie, I just was a bit annoying at the end, but after all ,it totals to a great movie.
Was actually a pretty funny movie. Lots of dirty jokes so you gotta be okay with that but yeah, I did actually enjoy this movie and don't get why so many people gave it such a low rating.
Gymnastics movies are awful. Fact. Thankfully this breaks the trend. Its wickedly funny and this is largely thanks to Rauch who relishes the character she plays. A hidden gem.
I like it and enjoy it more than i thought. Melissa was refreshing and funny with her foul mouth and Haley was as cute as it gets.
Only watched for Sebastian Stan, he's always good in the role of the hot asshole
I will shamelessly admit I only started watched this for Sebastian Stan. But it's so bad, I couldn't finish watching.
Melissa Rauch's character is crass for sake of shock value humor that works maybe ten percent of the time. If you have never seen the sex scene with Sebastian and Melissa, keep it that way.

I thought this movie was pretty great. And even touching by the end of it. I'll admit it started and I was like, oh no, this is going to be an hour and a half of the lead being super terrible to everyone. Not that that can't be funny, it works in movies like Observe & Report, they just tend to stress me out. But the awfulness settles in and it works. Plus...that sex scene is damn, damn funny. Melissa Rauch is hilarious and I want to see her in more stuff. This almost makes me want to watch The Big Bang Theory. Almost. Sorry, don't mean to burn BBT. Just not my style.
The ending was fresh, too. Not by the books at all, but not in a way that you go, wait what?! That can't happen, etc.....Also, the lead Olympic dude, I looked him up and realized he's Bucky! He looks way different without the long hair, scruff and eternal moping. Doesn't he look like that guy from Baywatch? David Charvet? I kept looking at him going no way it's that guy from Baywatch. He's older than this dude. Anyway, great movie. Super underrated performance in theaters, hope it finds an audience on video.
