Buscemi, Wilde, and Carrey are the stars of this. Carell was good, but not on his A game. It was great to see Carrey play an old school role. Reminded me a lot of Fire Marshall Bill and a few other gems he has played over the years. I have missed his style of comedy.
Overall, though, I have to agree with others that this is a very predictable story with a lot of filler.
Disappointing, was looking forward to seeing this :(
The plot is cool, Jim and Steve's acting uff.... Hahaha, and see the 13 (Olivia Wilde) (reference to dr house), and this well fulfills to entertain.
¡¡¡¡¡It's good to pass the time...!!!!!
I liked it, it was entertaining, it fulfills its purpose and the performances were very good, the story is good.it has good scenes and Tony Soprano is in it, so it's good, haha.
To be clear, this movie is dumb. But enjoyable dumb with an incredible cast. You can tell they had a good time making it, and I enjoy watching the shenanigans unfold. It will not be for everyone, but if you love the actors, go in open-minded.
Rating: 3/5 - 75% Worth Watching
This movie is vastly underrated and panned for no good reason. Is some of this stupid? Sure. But how many comedies aren't majority stupid? This has some genuinely funny moments w/ bits of stupidity laced through it. There was some really strong comedy in this, and it's unfortunate that it didn't get the accolades it deserved.
Much of the humor worked for me, I was entertained enough throughout the runtime. Nothing amazing, just some silly fun.
A true judge-by-its-cover comedy, this is almost precisely what you'd expect from the trailer and/or promotional materials, for better or for worse. It's a light, predictable comedy with a few good laughs and a wealth of filler material.
Although Steve Buscemi and Jim Carrey appear in supporting roles, the spotlight is largely reserved for Steve Carell, who's merely okay as an out-of-touch, egomaniacal Las Vegas magician. Carrey is particularly wasted in his role, a Criss Angel-David Blaine hybrid that amounts to little more than a barbed punchline, and doesn't even receive the dignity of an endgame.
The film is at its most entertaining when Carell is insufferable, a snobby celebrity lost in his own self-image, but quickly loses steam when Carrey's grim not-quite-magic act forces him to wake up. The plot becomes fairly paint-by-numbers from there, with a tour of skid row and a telegraphed love interest (Olivia Wilde) lining Wonderstone's path to redemption, and navigates no sharp turns on its way to an empty happy ending. A good time-killer for a lazy weeknight, but not something I'd recommend to friends.
The Incredible Burt Wonderstone is a silly, light hearted but enjoyable hour and forty minute movie.
Not too good, some mildly funny scenes and the silly outdated showman's craft of the duo was amusing to watch.
Guess im one of the few...i really enjoyed this movie..maybe because its my kind of humor that they were playing on..loved jim carrey!
Not as bad as I expected
Very few laughs, I'm really disappointed with this one.
Jim Carrey saved this one. :)
Nothing to see here. This really lacks charm and on-screen chemistry. If it hadn't been written for big name actors it would probably have been a lot better.

This movie is insanely underrated. It's super funny and Jim Carrey returns to his heyday persona and is goofy and hilarious as all get out.
