This has the best world-building I've ever seen in a movie of this genre. Far better than Constantine or Bright. Unfortunately, the cliché plot elements and Vin Diesel's horribly wooden acting prevent it from being anything greater than average.
There is nothing memorable going on in this boring movie except Vin Diesel with a beard.
Vin Diesel, fighting to save the day by beating the bad guys (or girl in this instance). Good action film. Vin plus Michael Caine, Rose Leslie and Elijah Wood - all bonuses. Nothing profound to say in the story, no lessons to learn or feelings to compromise the action. Just stoic determination to win the fight. Typical fare. I give this a 7 (just basic good) out of 10. I tend to watch movies before I read reviews for films, as I find most of the time, the reviews are horribly false.
It was the case for this film, I just finished it. I found it to be a very well made film, and an easy to follow storyline.

Good looking but muddled fantasy adventure. I enjoyed it though it could have had a more coherent script. Probably made with the intention of being a new franchise but I fear this will be the last witch hunter!
Nothing more than what you expect from a vin diesel movie. It had all the bells and whistles for a fun action paced film. it had swords!
Probably not a candidate for any award but nevertheless entertaining enough.

This is one of those movies that you wish had been as good as it could have been but is not as bad as could have been either. Nothing special here but not god awful either. Mediocre is the most apt description.
There are movies and shows with better writing but the movie deserves a bit more credit than it gets in our world full of movie-remakes and superhero non-sense. Good Fantasy movie, characters are not too deep and could've been better but i dont regret the money.
I wasn't expecting much from this, but it exceeded my expectations. Certainly not great but good enough to keep me interested throughout.
Good movie, don’t mind the critics
Passable, not as bad as some make out but definitely has its weaknesses. The world building and fights were decent and Rose Leslie is STUNNING. But Vin Diesel is far too wooden too pull off the nuance of a man hardened by the years of immortality. He's a one trick pony of an actor. There's never any difference in his performance.
The flashes to his family and him getting fooled by illusions were very repetitive. It's a 107 minute film and still felt like it dragged.
Feel like they could have done better with this premise had there been a tighter script and some cast changes.
Definitely watchable, amusing, with a surprising cast.
Extraordinarily convoluted, The Last Witch Hunter is an incredibly bizarre supernatural thriller. The story follows an immortal witch hunter named Kaulder as he investigates the death of a priest who he worked with in the battle against evil. The plot is extremely hard to follow, as things just happen from scene to scene with unintelligible exposition about witchcraft. And Vin Diesel seems to be putting no effort into his performance; though his co-star, Rose Leslie, has some charisma. The creature designs are somewhat interesting, but they’re a bit too surreal for the aesthetic of the film. The Last Witch Hunter tries too hard to be an epic fantasy saga, and ends up being an incoherent mess.
Good thing that I gave this a try. I enjoyed it a lot although there were several innuendos between Chloe and Kaulder which I didn’t like much
It could have been interesting, and it ended up lousy yet another superhero with the option for a sequel left over. Too bad for Cain and Leslie a good cast was wasted.

No deja de ser un buen pasatiempo para un sábado por la tarde con un tiempo que deje bastante que desear. Da la sensación de que todo sucede por que sí, sin necesidad de profundizar mucho en la trama que digamos.
Vin Diesel + bruxas + o fantástico + acção + vistosos efeitos visuais (lens flare e iluminação a sobressair)...
Bom filme de entretenimento dentro do género.

Vin Diesel fights an ancient witch. In the process, he becomes immortal. So, Vin Diesel, in this movie, is an immortal hero. Very conventional.
Some eye candy for those fantasy adventure fans! Pretty predictable movie but I was entertained for a few hours. Job done!
Cumple con lo importante que es entretener, te mantiene pegado a la pantalla y su duración fue justa, ni más ni menos.
En cuanto a la historia, con alguno fallos pero como dije la función de esta obra es entretener y no para buscar premios. Las actuaciones muy bien logradas, excepto la de Elijah Wood desde mi perspectiva. En fin muy entretenido para pasar el rato.

It is really good. The story line is not common but not unusual either. It is quite refreshing. I love it!
Really liked it. Was definitely more than I expected and really started getting attached to the main characters.
It's not much but to spend time is worth. View Rose Leslie and do not say you know nothing makes me weird
