The Price of Gold 2014

An interesting companion piece to I, Tonya. If anything, this documentary makes the dramatization even more impressive at how it seems to capture the figures and events from real life. The documentary flattens figures like Tonya's mom and her husband, but gives more time to fleshing out Nancy Kerrigan's part in all of this, which is interesting. The two seem to reach slightly different conclusions about Tonya's involvement, but appear to have the same take on the forces that exerted themselves in her life and where they led her. Overall, certainly an interesting and well-made doc.
