Look, obviously this story of an epidemic in the isolated tundra of Canada is The Thing with a canuck accent, eh? But this story is also aboot what could happen if global warming thaws out some dangerous shit.
Even better, all(-ish) of the actors deliver and the practical effects didn't suck and neither did most of the CGI, so all in all, it's better that I expected and could make for a fun, late-night watch.
It's nor a bad neither a good movie. The storyline was promising, but, at least for me, it didn't reach the point to be described as worth of watching.
