Definition: A psychosexual film relating to the mental aspects of sex, such as sexual fantasies or having to do with the psychological aspects of sexuality in contrast to the physical aspects. They go beyond the typical boy-meets-girl trope and delve into deep-seated, complex, Freudian narratives of sexual identity and sexual drive theory.
