With an amazing cast and a cool trailer I thought this movie was not to be missed, but this movie missed the mark. Too slow at parts and at certain points just plain ridiculous. The story wasn't pieced together right and it should have either been action packed or a deep story not a weird combination of both and too many main players, I didn't even get invested in them. If you haven't seen it then you shouldn't
It‘s like they gave millions to the casting department and twenty bucks and change to the writers in charge to come up with a good story and character development.

Inside jobs, dirty cops, heists.. these are things I love to see in movies. Ok, maybe not dirty cops as much, but heist movies in general are fun. Triple 9 has some intense moments, but even with this stellar cast the fun aspect of heist movies was missing.
the ensemble cast in this film makes you expect a memorable film but i honestly didn't give a shit about anyone's character by the end except maybe chiwetel's. another movie with good actors that honestly didn't need to be made; just go watch heat.
So much going on that I couldn't really follow it well, expected a lot more and was left disappointed.
The cast is absolutely fantastic, some of the cinematography and sound design are good, but damn this was a boring film. Utterly forgettable.

Good stuff, I like the cast in its uncommon roles.
It was alright, It could of been better thought, and the ending was a little poor. The story plot was nothing new, just your normal bad cop, good cop, bad guy, and the action that comes with it. I feel that all the cast but (Kate Winslet) were too good for the film.. she doesn't fit a bad guy role.

The production budget for this film was $20,000,000. I assume $19,999,980 was spent on casting and production, and $20 was spent on writing. This film is a well acted poorly written mess. The filmography needed work, it was just to dark to see what was going on at times, and I was watching this in a darkened room on a large TV. And the audio was difficult to hear at times even with my soundbar turned up higher than normal.
Completely forgettable, and not worth the time spend to view it. Watch Heat (1995) or Den of Thieves (2018) rather than waste any time on this.
Triple 9 is a great and underrated movie that deserves more attention than it got. It's a tense and gritty action-thriller that delivers plenty of thrills and excitement from start to finish. The plot is complex and keeps you guessing, with twists and turns that will keep you on the edge of your seat. The cast give excellent performances and have great chemistry together. This is a fantastic movie that shouldn't be missed by fans of the genre, and is proof that sometimes the best movies are the ones that fly under the radar.
I really enjoyed this movie when I went saw it back in the day but no one really talks about it it's a pretty engaging little heist movie with a really great cast great mixture of Hollywood actors like Woody harrelson Anthony Mack in Casey Affleck along with some great TV stars such as Aaron Paul and Norman Reedus

I thought that the film started off well enough, but it sort of lost the plot along the way. It seemed to be too much of a take on Training Day, and it wasn't overtly clear what was really going on, b/c what appeared to be the main storyline ended roughly 30 minutes before the film ended, and another storyline finished the film out. The aspect that really kept this film afloat was the stellar cast. If not for them, this would have been just another run-of-the-mill cop film, but as it stood, it was interesting enough to warrant a watch.
Corrupt police officers (blackmailed by the Russia mafia) team up with hard-core criminals to rob a bank containing incriminating evidence against a Russian mob boss. In the end an innocent "bystander" cop ends up taking down the surviving corrupt cop after the bad guys end up killing each other to cover up their conspiracy. Other than the superb acting of Woody Harrelson --- who plays a dramatic character for a change --- the movie is fairly weak.
A cast of well known actors is no guarantee for a good movie. I never got into this one and I couldn´t wait for it to end. And even that was dissapointing.
The film is okay but suffers from the countless number of similar films that have come before it. A good cast though, and Hillcoat is a talented director. This is not one of his better films, however.
Average action movie. Not bad not good neither. You watch it, you enjoy it (if you like this type of movies) and forget it :) Probably you won't play it again anymore.

Great scenario, poor editing which leads to a sluggish pacing, which kills the movie. Oh, and Affleck could have been replaced with a cardboard cutout, but they don't chew gum non-stop.

Great opening and cast, but the rest of the movie is rather dull except for a few single scenes. I'd rather watch "Heat" (1995) again instead of this.
