Not a bad movie but it dragged a bit for me.
"I think she's startin' to suspect something."
As a kid I had always wanted to watch this movie. Harrison Ford and Michelle Pfeiffer? What could go wrong? Well, I would say despite them committing to their performances, I couldn’t help but be bored most of the time.
A bit long, but it keeps you on your toes. The effects are there too. ;>
I enjoyed this one a lot.Although its full of cliches and too predictable it was a pretty ok movie 7.2/10.
Not a blood-and-guts horror movie >phew< but more a thriller-with-a-ghost movie. Lots of tense moments, a few twists and turns. Good story, good acting, good tension. This is a second viewing for me. I give this film a 7 (good) out of 10.
In the beginning i didn't had high expectations
But after a little while It had great suspense that had me on my edge of my seat till the very end.
Really liked it, the movie was far better then i expected.
it was okay, in my opinion.
Suspense is one of my favorite type of movies and this one here is a personal favorite of that genre. "What Lies Beneath" surely goes to the decent list. The whole atmosphere is very intense, the actors believable and I also love the camera work. I have to point out that this is one of the strongest suspenses I've seen.
I talked with my sister about that movie (she saw it like 10 years ago) and she still like me remebered one scene where Michelle looked through the fence....brrrr.
The film is a bit cliche but definitely didn't deserve the hate it got during release. Mostly since despite taking a while to find itself; the film is a good ghost movie. With plenty of chills and thrills.
A bit wannabe Hitchcock but I wish movies like it came out more often nevertheless.
Very thrilling and with an unpredictable ending.
Awesome twist, didnt expect that AT ALL!
