The film is worth taking a gamble on but it's moral message (if there is one) is murky.

I'm not sure what the point of this was. It's dreadful from start to finish.
It was an okay movie I would say, better than the other original Netflix movies that I've seen

I think many people missed the point of the film. This film isn't about gambling - gambling is only a backdrop. The film is about being given a chance and then having the sense to make the most of it. While on the surface the film may appear to not be breaking new ground I really do think that the approach is unique. So many other films beat you over the head with this kind of message - I appreciate the subtle approach.
