I hope this history never repeats itself, ever again….
The only thing that would have made this film better is when the Indians were talking in their native tongue to have the words on the screen so you knew what they were saying.
What do I know, a middle-aged woman from Sweden. You took their land and instead of feeling remorse, you erase yourselves and their history.

I like Jessica Chastain. I watch a movie because of her. Technically this is a good movie. Beautiful scenery and good, albeit not great, acting.
But....I can't help but feeling let down by the story. It feels like they wanted to deliver the message yet were afraid to go all the way. This story is too important to waste it on a quasi romance. Yes, the scene when the horse starts dancing has power and is gripping. But throwing in a couple of original pictures and some lines before the credits just wasn't enough.
