5x08 Day 5: 2:00 P.M.-3:00 P.M.

It's out of character that Jack wouldn't go through it, the guy who has been most or always on the side of the greater good. Stupid, and also robs us of an interesting moral situation, but at least it was debated, and we knew the positions of various characters and the government. Because of Jack's indecision/choice, his cover was blown AND the cannister was released.

It was an interesting moral situation though. Do you let one cannister go off to lead you to the other 19? Would you do it? Real life western authorities would arrest the two terrorists (and also not torture them) and then hope for the best.

Shows how morally corrupt western governments and the western justice system is today. Though i say western but it's probably most governments and justice systems in the world.

Nah, fuck this. Cummings doesn't deserve a free pass. Dude was directly responsible for at least 2 innocent people's deaths (at the airport). Not to mention he ordered a hit on a former president. And Michelle's death, of course. Fuck this guy. He was a scumbag. The fact he committed suicide doesn't change anything.
How convenient that his wife just so happens to be in California, though, lol. Like, why? If anything she'd be in DC, northern Virginia, or Maryland, because he was the Chief of Staff, and that's where they would normally be based.
