9-1-1: Lone Star: Season 4

4x15 Donors

Pacing is always a challenge with the number of characters and storylines this show tries to focus on each episode, but this was a good episode - top story (except that grossness at the beginning, need to remember not to eat while watching this show). Everything was ace this ep, even the family bonding and drama (I'm so glad they moved on from Owen and the heiress, their affair was getting to be a bit much).

Grace needs more episodes, every time she graces (haha) the screen, she proves that her character is underutilised.

7/10

In the beginning of the episode they drag the victim out of the crashed car. Since when do they do that without even bothering to put on a neck brace, not to mention putting him on a backboard in case of a neck injury? Also I guess now it's Grace's turn to play detective. Otherwise, this was an interesting and enjoyable episode.

It's so refreshing to see Owen on the sidelines for once. I enjoy a good 9-1-1 mystery, especially when you have Grace taking over the case. Probably the best episode of the season so far.

The case was interesting, could have done without the Chorea Huntington damocles sword which now hangs above TK (and Owen, I guess)... so another couple of angsty episodes to fill with the question whether or not to get tested...

Great episode! Having a single main story that ties the drama, emergency and drama all together kept the episode pretty tense and focused, and allowed the audience to not get bored by laborious side plots that aren't really that interesting. The guest acting was great too, with a heavy hitting filling in as a detective in the police department.

How cool is that, a Firefly reunion!
