Hello there! I'm Ashleigh, a book lover who has somehow found her way to the video side of the internet... I've been reading ever since I COULD read, and talking about my love for them for just as long. Everything in my life relates to books in one way or another, so buckle up and enjoy! #booktube

    Hi guys!

I'm Ashleigh, the face behind the A Frolic Through Fiction blog, and I've somehow found myself on the video side of the internet to bring you my bookshelf tour - in celebration of 1 year of blogging!

I've always wanted to be a booktuber, so this is really exciting for me. I might even do more videos ... this one kind of feels like a kick start to a booktube channel.

Disclaimer: I'm definitely not a pro at technology. This was actually my third attempt at making this video, and let me tell you, I learned a lot along the way. Still, there may be some haphazardness when it comes to lighting/audio/jump cuts/anything like that, so please bare in mind that I've never really done anything like this before.

I mean, I'm still getting the hang of using YouTube, so the video is just on another level really xD

Also, sorry if I pronounce any of the names wrong!

Thank you so so much for watching, I know it's a really long video. Please let me know if you like it, and if you'd like to see me properly start up a booktube channel alongside my blog!

2016x03 Series I Need To Finish

    • 2016-11-13T05:00:00Z18m

    Hi guys!

So I have this bad habit of taking YEARS to finish a book series. And then I thought, "well why not shame myself some more and create a video about it?!" Because that's just what I do.

Here are the book series I still need to finish!

Let me know in the comments if I should get to some of these sooner, or if you need to finish any of them too. Is there a series you've been meaning to get round to for months, or even years like me?

Also, let me know if you have any video suggestions you want to see me do!

    Thanks for watching x

2016x06 The Hype Made Me Read It

    • 2016-12-10T05:00:00Z18m

Hi everyone! Are there any books you've bought and read because of the hype? I definitely have. Let me know which ones/if you have any the same as I've mentioned in the video! Also, are there any you're hoping to get to because of the hype you keep seeing?

Hi everyone! Today we have an extra video for this week, since we'll be skipping next week's with it being Christmas - Don't worry though, this Sunday's video is still coming!

So recently, I became a rep for the new online merchandise store, Blu Bear Bazaar. I LOVE the designs that are already in store, so I'm really glad to have been sent a couple to feature in my photos and to just have around, making my room more aesthetically pleasing!

If you want to order anything from the store, use the discount code CUBASHLEIGH10 for 10% off!

    Hi everyone!
Today I'm bringing you my Reading Resolutions for 2017! My resolutions for 2016 went quite well - I have a recap of them coming to my blog soon, so keep an eye out for that. So I thought...well, why not try again?!

Have you set yourself any reading resolutions for 2017? If you've made your own video or blog post discussing them, feel free to leave a link in the comments and I'll happily check them out!

Do you give yourself slightly easier resolutions, in the hope that you'll actually complete them?

Also, if you have any recommendations for Nonfiction and Diverse books, please do leave a comment so I can add them to my list!
