Great ending, which given the constraints of the setting and theme, only emphasized. It felt very much like emerging from a vault in Fallout. The girl is delightfully perspicacious, and I felt a little disappointed with the Count for letting her down, and lying about knowing her.
I feel like the pace of the episode was done well, and there is a lot of little things in this to notice and enjoy.
As an example, I was truly ignorant about the 1800's push for Africans to emigrate to Russia, as I had searched this as there are a few Black characters, which just seemed out of place in Russia to me (pure ignorance, I didn't know the history), but after a few searches, I found a few different sources mentioning this; TIL.
