A good if uneven series. The Abyss device has a convoluted setup and a constantly shifting set of rules which the series never really laid out for convenience. That said, the way the resurrections were used throughout the plot was inventive and clever, and made for some really interesting twists and turns. The lead cast is great. Yu Je-won continues to be a strong director who can ground fantastic event and puts more focus on little nuances and complexities of characters without making it too bubbly, even if he was stuck with soapy shortcuts in the scripting from time to time.
