Gabby Logan, Stephen Mangan and Johnny Vegas answer questions about the year posed by the celebrity stars hidden behind Alan's giant advent calendar. Guest Jonnie Peacock helps Alan in the studio with a question for the panel. At the end of each part, an audience member from each team plunges into Alan's giant gift box containing 30,000 balls, hoping to be the first to find one of the three wrapped presents hidden inside.
