Right, this one won't be as meaty as my others because as you're all aware, Alone isn't a plot driven show. I'll just write about; the contestant I thought was going to win, who won, what I thought about the location & major moments in the season. Let's get this started!
Who I Thought Would Win Truthfully straight from the get go I wanted Jordan to win. He was my number 1. I'm not sure what it was about it him that made me root for him but as the season went on and he had his troubles with Wolverines & he killed a Moose I knew he was an instant favourite. How he handled everything and how he seemed to have this laugh about it all personality just made him so likeable for me.
What I Thought on the Winner If you read the previous paragraphs you'll know straight away I was happy with the winner. Seeing Jordan win was great, there's nothing better than rooting for a contestant on a show and then they actually win it. Jordan had some of the BEST moments in this Season, at times he actually made it look relatively easy. Well deserved win for him & I'm glad he got it.
The Location This Season took a change and was based in the Great Slave Lake. Their biggest enemy here was the Arctic winter and how terribly cold it got. As a whole I didn't mind the change in location, I prefer the Vancouver Island mainly because it just looks nicer, besides that silly reason I don't really care about the location. Having them settle here though I had my doubts if anyone would be able to survive that long there. Faced against the harsh winter and the predator animals they really had everything against them. I'm happy with the location choice but then again they could try and survive in a back garden and I'd still watch it.
Major moments Typing from the top of my head, for me the main moments this season for me were the killing of the Moose, Jordan's battle with the Wolverine & the Shelter fire. Besides that I can't really remember anything else.
Firstly, The Moose. This part absolutely baffled me, I remember watching it and my jaw dropped, I messaged my friend and told them what just happened. How Jordan managed to kill a Moose was beyond me, such an incredible feat to accomplish, well done. That seriously takes some skill.
Secondly, The Wolverine. This little bugger was one of the most frustrating parts to watch, seeing him slowly have a war with Jordan was one of the funniest yet most irritating parts and it really showed the mistakes Jordan was making (such as leaving the ladder up). I was just so glad to find out that Jordan had finally defeated him!
Finally, The Fire! This was such a silly mistake honestly, I actually can't believe it happened. Poor Nathan was doing so well and I was slowly finding myself rooting for him and then POOF! Shelter came down in flames. I remember watching it and thinking "Yeah he won't be coming back from this" and he done what any smart person would do and called it quits. Such a shame he had to tap out like that but hey, it happens!

MY THOUGHTS ON SEASON 6:
