I was (AM) very much triggered by this ending. The way Kobo died made absolutely no freaking sense. While he got shot, there were 3,5 witches in the room! One of whom had four stars!! It is not like he was dead the second he hit the foor; we had a whole dramatic scene where they carried him out while his eyes were still open. Give me a reason, something to show why these witches did not save him! There have been no intances in the whole show where Carmen was not able to heal somebody, unless she lost her powers for the time being, and this time she had her mother, best friend and boyfriend to help her. The only reason Kobo died, was because they needed a cliffhanger for season 3. Also, Paula said to Alicia that she should not let her heart be darkened by sadness. If they make her the villian of season 3 because she can't find Kobo, I will never watch this show again. She does not deserve that. I know this is based on a book, which I have not read, so I don't know if it happens in the original story, but still. Also also, I thought the whole reason they had to sign to give away their wishes was so that they would be even; that would be the price?? But some of their wishes were still happening? And then someone (but not Alicia, although her name was in the book) still had to die?? There is no consistency, and I always resent that in shows. I know this is based on a book, which I have not read, so I don't know if it follows the same story. This ending is such a shame, because the concept and the story are actually really enjoyable. No, I am not okay with this ending. This is one of those intances where I will delete the ending from my mind and stop the show at the moment of the party, before all of this went down. You can call me a sucker for a happy ending, and while that is 100% true, I can deal with the death of my favorite character IF it makes sense. This one just didn't. Sorry.
