Conspiracy theories, mysteries, secrets and the forbidden are probed with a fresh set of eyes as "America Declassified" delves into the hidden side of the United States. Investigators including former CIA officer Mike Baker, geoscientist and radiological engineering consultant Ben McGee, and investigative reporter Michele McPhee go on location to examine stories and events using new evidence, unprecedented access and never-before-heard-from witnesses. The hourlong episodes incorporate scientific methods, forensics and state-of-the-art surveillance technology to gain new insight into John F. Kennedy's assassination, the D.B. Cooper hijacking case, most-wanted mobster Whitey Bulger's life on the lam, and a rumored doomsday bunker under a major U.S. airport, among other stories. Locals and eyewitnesses also share their accounts of strange sightings, weird goings-on and unexplained phenomena.

"Fatal View" looks at the assassination of JFK fifty years later and talks to a witness from the school book depository. "Strict Radio Silence" visits the U.S. National Radio Quiet Zone in the Allegheny Mountains Range between Virginia and West Virginia. "Buried Alive" visits New Mexico's Waste Isolation Pilot Plant which houses tons of buried radioactive material.

"Missing in Action" examines the unsolved American hijacking case of D.B. Cooper and investigates whether he could have survived his mid air parachute jump. "Swallowed Up Hole" goes to Bayou Corne in Louisiana which is endangered by an enormous sinkhole. "Nowhere to Run" looks at a controversial wild horse roundup.

"Doomsday in Denver" examines whether there is a large secret government bunker hidden underneath Denver International Airport. "White Sands, Dark Secrets" looks at hidden runways on the White Sands missile range. "They're Listening" looks at an NSA data center in Utah.

"The Atomic Conqueror" examines the theory that John Wayne cancer resulted from nuclear fall out he was exposed to on the Nevada site of one his films. "Armageddon House" goes to the Ozarks to visit the Pensmore mansion which some say is being built to survive a coming apocalypse. "Cannibal Colonists" examines the theory that there was cannibalism in Jamestown.

"Hiding in Plain Sight" visits Santa Monica in order to look at the hideout of notorious Boston mob boss Whitey Bulger. "City on Fire" goes to Centralia in Pennsylvania in order to investigate a coal fire that has been burning for fifty years. "Rock Star" goes to Florida to examine the Coral Castle.

"Last Resort" takes a tour of a luxurious post-apocalyptic survival base created out of a decommissioned Kansas missile silo. "Rocky Escape" heads to Alcatraz prison in San Fransisco in order to investigate whether three inmates really escaped from the prison in the 1960s.

"Less Lethal" takes a look at law enforcement weapons that are designed to stop people without killing them like tasers, pepperballs, and sound based weapons. "Lost Vegas" goes to Las Vegas to investigate the storm tunnel underground that is now inhabited by the homeless poor. "Trash Talk" investigates whether recycling is a scam.

"Murder in Memphis" goes to Tennessee in order to investigate the assassination of Martin Luther King, Jr. and to determine whether James Earl Ray could have taken the fatal shot. "Night Lights" visits the small town of Marfa, Texas in order to investigate the strange phenomena of the Marfa Lights.

"Identified Flying Objects" goes to Nevada in order to investigate what is really is really being tested at the secret U.S. military base Area 51. "Drone Nation" examines the proliferation of unmanned aerial vehicles. "Green Curtain" goes to California to investigate growers of legal marijuana.
