Jess has cared for nine year old Cocker Spaniel Milo Jo since he was just a tiny puppy. Now a move to New Zealand means that she needs to find him a new home. Milo and Jess visit a young woman who needs company, an energetic family keen to get their first dog and a singer songwriter who wants to add to her canine brood. Jess must decide which of them can offer a suitable home for her old dog to spend his declining years.
