The premiere episode profiles married high school English teacher Sharon Rutherford, an exemplary educator in Coffeeville, Ala., whom other teachers looked up to for her willingness to help students succeed. That was, until she underwent gastric bypass surgery and experienced a renewed self-confidence. Then instead of food, Rutherford craved male attention. Not long after the procedure, she seduced a 17-year-old student, and they soon engaged in a dangerous and illicit sexual affair.
