So I like Equinox -- he has an intriguing motivation as a villain and I appreciate the fact that he is both one step ahead of Batman (a rare thing in this BatGod like depiction) and has an air of mystery to him. But the demeanor and monotone delivery makes it hard for me to get too into the character. I appreciated what he added to this episode, but was not as on board as I might have been.
The Buddy Blank/OMAC stuff was fine if simple. OMAC learning to win by not attacking despite being a behemoth and Buddy helping Batman despite being diminutive was a nice parallel, but it was pretty basic storytelling (which, incidentally, is fine for a kids show!) that didn't really compel me.
