This was so much fun. I am a sucker for musical episodes, whether they show up on Buffy, Scrubs, or Futurama, and this hit me hook line and sinker. The Brave and The Bold is the perfect Batman show to engage in this high concept type of episode (complete with references to the Bat-tu-si and shark repellent), and Neil Patrick Harris as the Music Meister is a hell of a ringer to bring in to do the heavy lifting. The songs were fun homages to a variety of musical styles and had clever lyrics, and the animation flourishes the show used to accentuate the musical theater quality of everything were great. Certainly one of the campier episodes of the show (and that's saying something), but also one that makes the most of that campiness.

Why was this episode so late in the season? We get Clock King over and over again, but only one appearance of the best new villain so far!

This is one of the best animated series episodes ever made. No joke.

I will come back and watch this episode drunk every few years, again and again, and I will always enjoy my time with it. It is amazing.
