Becky and Barnaby Bear visit Caernarfon Castle, with Barnaby's father. Barnaby wants to pretend to be a king, with Becky as his queen, Beatrice. However Becky wants to be a princess. Barnaby and Becky go in their imagination back to a time when they could be King and Queen. On returning to reality Barnaby becomes very bossy and will not allow Becky to sit on the throne. He also wants to be the hero and rescue Queen Beatrice. Becky and Barnaby argue, and Barnaby gets himself locked in the tower. Becky has to rescue him and Barnaby apologises for being so selfish and bossy. Finally Becky and Barnaby act as an equal king and queen, with both sitting on the throne.
