Season 2 went from revving the engine to accelerating in this episode. Exploring the motivations, strengths and fallibilities of these incredible characters is the rewarding part of being a Big Little Lies viewer, and we’re now getting into the deep inner-workings of the cast.

I’m glad to see the story continue making meaningful and objective conversation about the psychology of abuse and trauma from multiple angles and ages. Certainly the ambition of story writers and actors alike has paid off.

Oh Celeste. It's so very complicated for her. I couldn't even imagine what it's like in her position.

Really dug the sweet moment at the end of Jane's date. He seems like a lovely guy.

Madeline and Ed's part of the story is really breaking my heart. Reese Witherspoon was the best and the whole speech and the whole situation that surrounds it is so delicately built, it's just overwhelming

These episodes are way to short for my taste. I really can't wait for next week and a new episode. This is how brilliant this show is.

me @ jean-marc vallee: helo, sir, did you not see the chemistry between Jane and Celeste? Why must you torture us with this romance between jane and this dude?

The shows name sure is starting to ring loud, this season.

Also, Renata's and Mary Louise Wright's first interaction was on par with what i'd expect. Can't wait for an elevated encounter with those two in the future.

That bridge in the opening is getting really ominous. Sure, great acting from all the ladies, but the bridge is killing it and deserves an emmy.
